In the last 3 years I was looking for a resize control or code. Last week I discovered ActiveResize and I tested it a little. It seems to be the solution!!!
Good for vb 6. 0. It's very good tool for vb 6. 0 projects which are running in different resolutioned screens.
Failed To Work Your application failed to work -The control was very simple to install and implement but it did not resize the forms correctly. My application set the form size correctly without your control but after adding your control to the form it became too high and too narrow - remove the control and the size reverted to the correct size - I didn't change any of my code.I used an alternative product (called ResizeKit) which has worked perfectly for me.
Great potential but lacking a couple things Active Resize would be great if a couple things were added/fixed. As it is right now I would not have much use for it. What it requires is the ability to resize the pictures in The back of listviews and buttons. Also the perspective ratios for the controls are not consistant. e.g. I have several textboxes on top of a listview. The text boxes are sized the same as the rows of text in the listview. However, when I stretch the form, the text boxes get out of allignment with the listview rows.

Opinion Does ActiveRisize Control Lite 3.0 work on a 64-bit version of Windows?
I am using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and Microsoft Windows 7.
Kind regards,

I'd like to point some small 'flaws' that may inviabilize the use of your tool (the following descriptions were taken using the Professional version):- When we set the screen size to 800x600, even using TrueType fonts, they look 'grey' and truncated. It looks like when you convert text to image and reduce its resolution too much. Some parts becomes difficult to read. The results varies for different fonts (tested with Verdana/Helvetica) but without significant change of quality.- Toolbars were not resized so they stay larger than the other controls.- The ListView scrollbars weren't scaled aswell and ...

Great control and does everything it says.
Need a few questions answered Hello, I had a few questions about this control. I tried to use it in our program which has Farpoint Spread and Tab controls and it didn't seem to resize them. We also have custom ocx controls in our forms that it did not resize even though I put an ActiveResize control in the ocx.See screen shots of the program. The demographics screen is made up of 2 ocx controls drawn into a page on the Farpoint tab control.http://www.medamation.com/howitworks/overview.htmhttp://www.medamation.com/howitworks/demographics.htmIs there a trick to this or does AR ...

Resizer XT - Performance Tried it on one screen with a line, grid and text box. Lines do not resize and so also the flexgrids. Has to be improved.
Problem With errors Occasionally when an application starts with the Resizer TX control in it, it displays an error message and quits. I would however continue using this control as it does not happen very often
Resizer XT and User Controls I like everything about Resizer XT except that I couldn't use it for resize contents inside User Controls. Perhaps it's my fault, I'll try to find out if there is a vay to do it with Resizer XT. Maybe you can help me? I would appreciate it.Sincerely yours,Gracijela Dundovic
AWESOME control! Resizer XT is an awesome control. Just drop it on the form and it goes to work. Couldn't be easier to use. This control is great for forms with lots of controls. No more resizing manually with code!Totally AWESOME!

I was not able to use or understand commands. It has the basics of taking an image and reducing the height and width in proportion to the original. I was looking for something that resized using a scale in inches, and also provided a feature for editing . Sometimes in the resizing I need to crop some edges.I also was looking for a feature that allowed the photo to be shape into a circle, square , oval or heart. I use my photos for photo charm jewelry so I need a program very, very freindly. I purchased Printworkshop 2007 for 9.99 and created ...
PRG review Hi - I was looking for an application that was able to resize and change the embedded DPI in the file, and to intelligently set the longest side to 640 pixels (say). I used to be able to do this in Sizerox for the Mac, but have migrated to PC, and am looking for something similar. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem the PRG can do this,
Nice product... I really liked the product. I only used it on a batch of about 55 pictures, but it worked quickly and applied the watermark I selected easily. One thing I would like to see under the watermark is the ability to change the font easily. I didn't notice it in there. If this is already there, then kudos to you! :)
Very impressed! Was evaluating a competing package but found this to be the best on the market for what it is supposed to do. Will be purchasing for the work place.
comments for Picture Resize Genius I have used this tool only a few times but so far it has been great. These days on takes larger and larger pictures with all the new cameras. It is nice to be able to easly make small pictures for email and uploading to the web.
An exceptional piece of software! Our design firm utilized this software and found it to be a treasure in itself! We highly recommend Picture Resize Genius to either amateur photographers, designers or those looking to protect their images with a watermark of their choosing.

Opinion. I needed image resiser pro to change my photo sises as I have changed phones and the images were very small. It worked very well but the trial does have it's limit's thanks for the downlo kol.
Resize images Enlarging images still gets blurred by this program just like any of the other paint programs, which disappointed me, but resizing it smaller works very well and the ability to do multiple images is great.
be yourself, only better. I have only used it once so far resizing 5 allowed pics. it did work for me. but i think price is a little to high. it is very easy to use though which is good. click, click and you are there.auto constrain would be a good thing with option to tick it off.
